Global Learning
At Ranum we create a unique international learning environment, which we call "Global Learning". We combine the best of the Danish general and international teaching culture with profile subjects, cultural subjects and electives, as well as trips to the whole world.
Levelled teaching
Students are divided into 3-4 different levels in all academic subjects, and it is possible to change subject levels during the school year because the different levels are taught simultaneously. We call this progressive levelling and it is unique in the school world.
Life enlightenment, popular enlightenment
and democratic education
Ranum is a general efterskole for everyone. We offer teaching and socialising with a focus on life education, popular education and democratic education. We aim to improve each student's academic level for further education and to be able to act locally and globally in life.

Supervisors
All students must have an individual interview with their tutor. These interviews mainly take place in October-December. During the interviews, the tutor makes an Educational Readiness Assessment - often in collaboration with contact and subject teachers. Read more about the guidance effort here.
