01 Sep Cooperation agreement in place with Vietnam, Nordic food & Concert with Sloe Jim

Dear reader,

Another good 1TP5Week has passed. We have had a visit from Vietnam after a successful water sports weekend. In addition, we have said goodbye to our AFS monthly programme team and they have all received diplomas for their participation. Now it's time for a Friendship Weekend with an action-packed programme and we look forward to a concert with Sloe Jim and cultural subject choices in the coming week. Above you can see this week's kitchen team having a welcome break for lunch.

A wet water sports weekend with good weather

Saturday and Sunday was a fantastic water sports weekend - surfing in Cold Hawaii, Klitmøller, Wakeboarding and sailing in Rønbjerg with happy and well behaved students and teachers.

We say goodbye to the AFS students after 4 fantastic weeks

AFS visiting students from Italy, Columbia and Germany finish their 4-week stay. They received a diploma and a nice end to the community gathering.

Cooperation agreement with Vietnamese educational organisation

Ranum Efterskole College signs cooperation agreement with Vietnamese Education Organization for exchange of students and teachers, as well as summer school stay in Denmark. 

Election to Cultural Studies in 2nd term

Monday there was a test selection for the many cultural subjects. The final selection is on 10/9 at 10am and you can read about the exciting possibilities right here. Watch films from January's culture classes below. 

Gastronomy makes Nordic food

Gastronomy has been working on the Nordic cuisine this week. They have ended the week's theme with a 4-course Nordic menu. The menu consisted of tomato consommé, hake and cauliflower, veal and cabbage and finally sea buckthorn one surprise.

Friends Weekend

During Friday afternoon Ranum Efterskole will be occupied by the students' friends and there will be an entertaining programme all weekend.

Concert with Sloe Jim

Sloe Jim from England gives a concert on Monday in the banqueting hall. We are really looking forward to it - and you can hear some of the music right here.
