23 May 2nd Class Day and Imprint Festival
Dear reader,
The summer season is underway. We can see it, hear it and feel it at school. The events in particular are a sign of better weather and brighter days, and that is certainly noticeable. Yesterday's Print Festival is a shining example of this - there was a real summer atmosphere and a corresponding mood. In addition, we had a visit from over 200 exuberant 2nd graders on Tuesday, and again we spent the whole day outside.

2nd class day
Today, Ranum Efterskole once again hosted the municipality's sports day for 2nd graders. 195 fresh students went "Around the world with Ranum Efterskole" well accompanied by about 40 guides from our 10th graders. In addition, 40 students provided activities as they made their way around 9 stations set in different countries. Here, the students competed in orange-in-turban running in Oman, American football in the USA, tug-of-war in Greece and chopsticks baton in China. At the end of the day, the students received a diploma.
A HUGE DISCOUNT
Every year we fill up the buses and head for Bælum. We do this because this is where Imprint Festival. Yesterday, Thursday, it was this year's turn to show what they had been practising. Someone right from the beginning of the year. Ranum was represented by no less than five bands and a fan base that made a big impression on the festival. They shouted Ranum in chorus and supported their comrades on stage. We took a lot of pictures, of course, and you can see them and let them speak for themselves right here.

Events next week
Sunday is New Students' Day, one of the biggest days of the year. We expect to welcome around 320 families - we look forward to seeing you all! In addition, we will be taking contact group photos next week, which are an important part of Blue Book.
