10 Aug Full of energy we get ready for the start of the school year

Dear reader,

It has been a fantastic summer at Ranum Efterskole College, where we have had Summer School with over 120 young people from 21 countries. They have enjoyed being together on the profile courses and on the trip to Copenhagen.

Ready for student team 18/19

This week, all teachers have been preparing the school for Sunday, when 430 new students check in at Ranum Efterskole College. We are really looking forward to filling the school with life again and to the many exciting activities and experiences that await us.

Ready, set, go!

We are getting ready to welcome 430 wonderful students and their parents on Sunday. We've found contact group signs, cleaned up, welcomed a few new staff members, packed envelopes, assembled chairs and found school clothes so everything is folded and ready for the 18/19 school year.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone for a hopefully sunny day at Denmark's most beautiful afterschool. It will be a fun day and the start of a week where students will get to know each other, settle into their new houses and enjoy a firework display of colour at this year's colour party on Friday.

Welcome to AFS

However, we have also had time to welcome some very energetic AFS students. At the beginning of the week we had a great visit from 17 AFS students who will be part of everyday life at Ranum Efterskole College for the next three weeks. The students have already been on a trip to the City of Smiles and experienced the windy West Sea. The students have also been having fun at school with climbing, dancing and a 'comic strip' project, so they can each make their mark on the school before returning home.
