Dear reader,
The weeks fly by at Ranum Efterskole College as the sun shines over Ranum and we realise that the last month of the school year is approaching. We enjoy every single day we have together at efterskolen and are counting down to our many upcoming celebrations, such as the 20th Anniversary, the Gala and the final out-week that includes Dream Festival and the big graduation. But before we welcome all these festivities, let's take a quick look back at this week's highlights.

Full host in Copenhagen
Our Full host students have been on a trip to sunny Copenhagen this weekend, where they visited Tivoli Gardens, went on a harbour tour and saw The Little Mermaid up close! On the way home to Ranum, festive songs were sung on the bus after a fantastic weekend away in Denmark.

The Northern Lights were at their peak in Denmark last weekend. And it danced beautifully past Ranum Efterskole College.

Gala is just around the corner. So once again this week we took advantage of the sunshine to practice our finest dance moves. Loud music was played and the students were very committed to doing a good job.

Headmaster's column
Dear reader,
Pentecost is just around the corner. The Danish written exams are over and the international written exams are coming to an end. In the classrooms, in the corridors and in the sunshine in front of the main building, students are preparing their synopsis for the Danish exams. It is an important exercise in gathering knowledge and reflection in an academic presentation, which certainly helps to strengthen the transition to the youth education that awaits after the summer holidays.
We have ended the profile subject period with the last big Photo, Video and Article Competition, PVA, where students had their photos, films and stories from the profile subject trips in week 15 judged. The big competition shows everyone at the school our incredible diversity in subjects, interests and travel destinations. Pentecost is also the last chance to recharge your batteries. In the next few weeks we have New Students' Day, the Gala party and the last day of school before the oral exams start. There's a lot to look forward to and the high level of activity makes it easier to forget that we only have 6 weeks left of the school year. Live it up!

Ranum Efterskole College turns 20 years old - on Saturday 22 June at 14.00 we invite you to the biggest anniversary in the school's history! Join us in celebrating 20 years of experiences, friendships and development as we open our doors for a day filled with togetherness and entertainment. There will be live music and entertainment from former students, a time travel through 20 years of efterskole with both new and old students, a 3-course menu, sing-alongs and the unveiling of a new gable mural featuring all the students and staff who have helped shape us into what we are today.
