Ranum Bus
The Ranum bus starts on 22 August and ensures that students can easily get to and from Ranum Efterskole College during weekends and holidays.
Ranum Efterskole College operates the Ranum bus in collaboration with Midtbus, but efterskolen bears the financial risk.
If the buses are not being utilised and if there is a loss, we have to stop offering the routes that present challenges.
That's why it's important to support the offer and book tickets well in advance.
The discount code gives a 10 % discount on the Ranum bus until 31 December: earlybird (Tickets must be booked before 31 August)
Important info
There is no seat guarantee and we recommend that tickets are booked by Tuesday before the weekend departure, so we have an opportunity to plan bus sizes etc.
Available seats will be visible until the bus route is sold out.
If a route is sold out - we will consider adding a larger or extra bus to the route, but unfortunately it will not always be possible to increase the number of seats.
We have purchased a professional booking and ticketing solution that is tried and tested.
Tickets are purchased in this system and the student receives their ticket by email. On the ticket there is a barcode that is scanned on the mobile phone/paper ticket when boarding.
It is important to buy a ticket all the way to the end of the line, and if cheating is detected, the rest of the pre-purchased tickets will be cancelled for the rest of the year.
Unfortunately, purchased tickets are non-refundable, but can be sold to another student.
We are setting up a Ranumbus Facebook group for this purpose - join now - both students and parents.
We're starting with a great introductory offer of 10% on all purchased travel until 31.12.24.
The code: earlybird can be used until Saturday 31 August.
Remember that it is always the student's email that should be used to create a user. On my page - the student can find booked tickets.

- Go to ticket page.
- Choose your route by clicking on one of the images.
- Please select your departure date from Ranum.
- Now select your destination by adding a seat next to your destination.
- Press approve.
- Select your desired departure time.
- If you are not returning to Ranum, choose exit.
- To return to Ranum, select the image for your route.
- Now select your return date and departure time.
- You will now get an overview of your selected journey plan.
- If you are happy with the route, press approve.
- Now enter your student data. Make sure to enter the discount code earlybird in the payment code field.
