Are you interested in exploring Yoga and mindfulness? Then Yoga is for you.

The yoga wave has really hit Denmark and has become a very popular form of exercise or side activity to other sports. In this profile course, there will be a strong focus on physical postures, alignment and deep stretches, but we will also delve into pranayama and how our breathing can have a big impact on our health and a balanced everyday life. Yoga is very embracing and you will encounter different traditions such as hatha and yin, vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. You may also learn how to do a headstand, and either way, you'll be physically challenged because yoga can be tough!

We immerse ourselves in and through the subject, including creating good routines that you might be able to use in your life in the future. At the same time, we also work to have a greater focus on sustainability and how we together can take better care of the world around us.

Oftentimes it is hard for us to look inwards and slow down our tempo in a hectic everyday, but yoga has a positive influence on our life and can help us live in the present. Through meditation, breathing techniques and physically challenging positions, you will experience greater mental energy, a stronger body in better balance, less stress and greater presence.

The trip

The profile trip is a trip to a yoga retreat where we get to immerse ourselves in the world of yoga. In the past we've collaborated with Finca al Limón in the south of Spain, and alternatively the trip might go to Sweden or another Nordic country to make the journey more sustainable. Either way, the profile subject is for everyone, both brand new yogis and more experienced practitioners. The most important thing is that you are open, curious and ready to challenge yourself.
