Camino de Santiago
Do you enjoy nature and would you like to discover a new country?
The pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela goes back centuries. It started as a way to ask for grace or forgiveness from God by walking to the Cathedral of Santiago, where the remains of Saint James are buried.
Nowadays the Camino still attracts thousands of people a year. Why? It combines amazing nature, with great food and meeting people from all over the world.
There are many variants from the Camino (The English way, the primitive way, the Portuguese way, the French way, etc.) depending on where you start walking.
The trip
We will hike for 4 or 5 days and will explore Santiago and Galicia. We can also contemplate to go all the way to Finiserra, what the romans considered the end of the world.
During the classes we will explore the different variants of the Camino and chose one. We will also focus on different aspects related with the Camino (Heritage, Gastronomy, nature) and finally we will go for some hikes here in Denmark so we are ready to explore Galicia!
