Canada Nature Roadtrip

Travelling to Canada offers a wealth of great outdoor experiences and is an adventure for nature lovers. From east to west, Canada is a cornucopia of dramatic and stunning scenery with prairies, soaring mountains, tranquil lakes and deep forests. British Columbia is by far Canada's most beautiful province. Thanks to its inaccessible location behind the Rocky Mountains, it was one of the last to be colonised and nature continues to reign supreme, with dense forests growing wild down to the archipelago-like fjords. As if that wasn't enough, British Columbia is also home to one of Canada's most beautiful and charming cities - Vancouver, which still exemplifies a living history of Native American and British traditions that blend fascinatingly with contemporary culture, architecture and gastronomy.

TRAVEL

On the Canada Nature Roadtrip we will dive into life in and around the Canadian mountains. Life in the mountains means being exposed to nature, which offers many challenges and opportunities for adventure. On the trip, we'll delve into the history of the natives through time by visiting the Squamish Cultural Centre and experience a school day at Rudolph Steiner School, Whistler Waldorf, Whistler.

The trip includes a few days skiing in the beautiful Whistler Blackcomb area, skiing in Revelstoke in the Rocky Mountains, visiting Cypress Mountain,

Feel the pulse of the West Coast's largest city - stunning Vancouver, visit hot springs, cheer on one of Canada's NHL ice hockey teams and experience magnificent nature in Banff National Park. Banff National Park is a natural gem with mirror-like lakes, majestic mountain ranges surrounded by green pine forests, waterfalls, rushing rivers and glaciers.

The tour starts in Seattle, USA and ends in Calgary, Canada.

The trip is mainly designed and planned by the students with us teachers as guides.
