At Ranum Efterskole College you combine the best of afterschool with an international IGCSE or AS/A level Cambridge International Examinations. The offer is perfect for those who love English and miss academic challenges in 9th or 10th grade. And it's tailor-made for students who have attended school abroad and want to finish with an internationally recognised exam, as well as a Danish 'Abitur'.
IGCSE in 9th or 10th grade
You get the best from the efterskole; the community, 450 new friends, the profile subjects, the travels and all the other exciting things – while also getting an international exam.
IGCSE 9th grade students will have 5 IGCSE subjects + Danish as well as prepare to complete school-leaving examinations (of the Danish Folkeskole FSA).
IGCSE 10th grade students and international students will have 5-6 IGCSE subjects + Danish as 1st, 2nd or foreign language.
AS/A levelin 10th-11th grade.
Here you also get a combination of all the best of afterschool and an international diploma. You choose 4 subjects - there are no compulsory subjects - you choose according to your interests and skills. AS / A Levels are competency based in an international foundation degree on a par with the IB in international secondary schools.
