The trip

As Ceramics is a new profile subject, it has not yet been decided where the profile subject trip will go. However, there are many good ideas in the pipeline. 

The lessons

Ceramics is primarily a skills programme. We work with all elements of the creative process, from brainstorming to sketching, in order to develop creative ideas for working with ceramics.

We work with different types of stoneware clay such as swivelling clay in different shades, lava clay, black clay, white clay, etc. In this way, you will become acquainted with a wide range of different expressions - both in the colour of the clay and its interaction with glaze.  

During the profile period, you will be familiarised with different techniques for working with clay. Plating techniques and turning techniques. There are a total of three lathes - it will therefore be possible to try out these techniques in turn.  

We will work both on jointly defined tasks, but also on individual projects.
